Inawera Black for Pipe
T_Mace
First of all, holy shit.
Specs:
- percentage used: 3.5%
- 3 week steep
- PG/VG ratio: 50/50
- vaped on NarDA rda, A1 Kanthal, 24 gauge, spaced coil, 0.7 ohm, 12-18 watts
Flavor Properties:
- authentic, fire cured, Virginia style blend
- dark
- full bodied
- seriously tastes like a NET (Naturally Extracted Tobacco)
Relatable Flavors:
- Virginia tobacco taste (I define that as sort of a dry, leafy/grassy tobacco)
- some smokiness (like what you get from smelling Latakia tobacco)
- a bit of a peppy taste low in the profile (not like bad nicotine, I mean like the smell of fresh ground pepper, this is in line with the taste of Latakia so makes sense)
- some people report a smoked plum flavor, I taste the smoke but only smell the plum
Mouth Feel:
- thick density
Off Flavors:
- none
Position In A Recipe:
- this can definitely take centre stage, or could be used as an accent flavor
Suggested Percentage:
- 3.5% is full bodied flavor, drop down if using as an accent
Pairings:
- this might be the missing note in my rolling tobacco blend.
- FLV Native Tobacco maybe
- INW Plum (or Smoked Plum)
- INW Dirty Neutral Base to bring out more of the smoke
- add a bit (1-2%) into your cigar mixes
- INW Cognac plus a cigar flavor would be pretty dope probably
- if you like sweeter tobacco mixes, go with caramel or butterscotch
Conclusion:
- Fuck yes. Keeper!
- This is one of those, "omg, I taste tobacco!" type flavors.
- It reminds me of Black Note's Legato which is a NET made from Kentucky tobacco.
- If you're a serious tobacco head, this NEEDS to be in your collection. Get it.
